Brief
Concept
Description for
Both Shenton Projects: |
|
The Artwork for both
entrances in inspired by the spiral. The two individual spiral
forms, set into the paving areas at each entrance compliment
each other and incorporate text into the spiral lines. The
artwork for the Upper School has one three dimensional sculpture
which stands alone in the centre of the spiral in the ground
plane. This is a tall elegant form that spins in both directions
on a central axis. The artwork for the Middle School consists of
a group of smaller three dimensional cones set along the spiral
line in the ground plane. It is intended that these three forms
act as informal seating. |
